Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Compile and analyze account information to prepare entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts.
- Accurately document financial transactions by entering account information.
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information and generating balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and various reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements along with supporting footnotes.
- Validate financial transactions through thorough auditing of documents.
- Maintain robust accounting controls by drafting and recommending policies and procedures.
- Address financial discrepancies through diligent collection and analysis of account information.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with remote team members and external accountants.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Peachtree or similar accounting software is essential.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to operate with a sense of urgency.
- Robust analytical capabilities and effective time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- A CPA license is preferred but not compulsory.
