Description:

Phoenician Technical Services LLC, a leading Landscape Company, is looking for a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Accountant to join its dynamic team.

This role reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

  • Solid background in accounting, with strong analytical skills and the ability to provide detailed business reports.
  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Handle all accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Prepare budgeting and forecasting reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Accounts & Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA /ACCA certification is a plus.
  • Proven working experience as an Accountant.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle accounts payable and dealing with suppliers efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.”
