Overview: IFRS Stratfinancial Advisory, a leading financial consulting firm in Dubai, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions. Process invoices, payments, and collections in a timely manner.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Expense Management: Monitor and control company expenses. Implement cost-saving measures and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related role. Experience in the finance or consulting industry is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
