Description:

Looking to hire for an Accountant

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Oversee the daily accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure that financial records are kept up-to-date and accurate, and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including VAT, and other compliance documents.
• Participate in audits and other financial reviews, ensuring that all required documentation is prepared and available for review.
• Supervise the accounting software to ensure proper operation and compliance with internal controls.
• Manage bank facilities, including negotiating credit terms and managing relationships with banks.
• Timely report and complete tasks assigned by top management.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in business in accounting. A chartered accountancy degree is an advantage.
• Experience for at least 15 years in UAE in accounting dept. in a trading company.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong experienced in trade finance banking transactions.
• Well versed and has worked on accounting software.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

• Reporting to CEO.
• Working days: Monday to Friday (both days inclusive)
• Office location: Dubai
