Hiring Full-time Accountant for Used Car Sales Garage in Dubai

Position: Full-time Accountant

Location: Dubai.

We are a reputable used car sales garage located in Dubai, specializing in providing high-quality pre-owned vehicles to our valued customers. Our commitment to customer satisfaction, transparency, and integrity has established us as a trusted name in the industry.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Full-time Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, Minimum 3 years experience within the GCC region, and a comprehensive understanding of Zoho Books accounting software. The candidate should also have an understanding of the used car industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the used car sales garage.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Zoho Books, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Must fully understand how to do VAT returns.) • Prepare necessary documentation for quarterly VAT returns, ensuring accurate and timely submission to regulatory authorities.
• Compile, analyze, and interpret financial statements and monthly profit and loss reports, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to labor laws.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Provide financial reports and insights to support management’s understanding of the business’s financial health.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the used car industry’s financial dynamics and contribute to pricing strategies and cost management initiatives.
• Exhibit a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently, taking ownership of financial processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience within the GCC region, preferably in the automotive or used car industry.
• Proficiency in using Zoho Books accounting software is essential. Strong knowledge of local accounting regulations, VAT laws, and tax compliance within the UAE.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
