Description:
We are looking for a full-time Accountant with real estate experience to join our expanding team.
You will be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, maintaining petty cash, dealing with banks and tenants, preparation of tenancy contract & Ejari, attending tenants calls for maintenance works and allocating the right team for completion of work, payment of utilities on time and ensuring that the accounts are reconciled periodically.

Responsibilities
- Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses on a day-to-day basis without any delays.
- Handle all accounts payable and receivable and make sure their accounts are accurate with periodic reconciliation and no transaction gets lost
- Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly in an orderly manner
- Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing cheques including printing, obtaining signatures and distributing the cheques on time.
- Follow up with vendors for accounts payable and keep in touch as needed for collections and ensure bills are paid on time
- Monthly closing of accounts, preparation of quarterly reports and final annual closing of accounts including coordination with the External Auditors is must.
- Filing of VAT returns on time in coordination with the VAT Auditor.
- Assist the real estate team or other department staff with their tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is highly valued
- Experience in real estate accounting or property accounting preferred
- Experience in real estate industry preferred
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
- A valid UAE Driving license will be a plus.
