Description:
ORKI Café, a part of the Rashid Al Jabri Group of Companies, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is experienced in financial record management, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will support the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, handling VAT-related tasks, and assisting with various accounting and administrative responsibilities. Candidates with experience in the food and beverage, hospitality, or retail sector will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily bank transactions.
• Reconcile daily sales received through POS systems and online delivery platforms, including Talabat, Keeta, and Noon.
• Download, review, and verify sales reports along with supporting documents.
• Process vendor invoices and supplier payments using online banking platforms.
• Prepare reports for outstanding vendor payments.
• Coordinate the processing and payment of monthly DEWA bills.
• Manage salary payments through Cash, Kamel Pay, and WPS.
• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns.
• Reconcile petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and supporting records.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of UAE accounting experience.
• Experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
