ARDENT is looking for a talented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi!
The ideal candidate must have
- Completed qualifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA
- 5+ years of experience of well rounded accounting experience in mid to small size organizations.

You will be responsible for a range of key duties, some of which are
- Maintain accounts for the company, record expenses, preparing cheques for petty cash reimbursement, monthly closing of books, preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with auditors for financial statement audits and ICV certification
- Record sales and collection in the QuickBooks/other accounting software
- Prepare AR reports for management, handle monthly payroll processing, perform high-level reviews of management accounts
- Monthly payroll processing via Wage Protection System (WPS). Prepare the Final Settlement calculation and obtain appropriate approvals for outgoing employees
- Handle billing and monitoring. Provide support to the project managers in uploading invoices to the client’s portal
- Provide accounting support, create project code for the new projects and update as necessary
- Perform bank and GL account reconciliations, passing of income and expense accruals every end of the period
- Handle Accounting Engagements independently; responsibilities include bookkeeping, reporting, financial review, consolidations, and assistance in external audit
- The candidate must be based in UAE only as UAE Tax Experience is a mandatory requirement for this role.
