Hiring Accountant (Group Holding Experience)

Location DIFC, Dubai – UAE

Profile: A member of finance team to ensure the internal control process, manage daily

Accounting work and support business and management team with data and reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify all the finance-related requests and the supporting documents,
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant
• laws and regulations
• Ensure postings of all transactions in the accounting system in time
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in a timely fashion
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information and budget
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
• Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
• Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
• Complies with financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and investment analysis
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, and auditing.
• Proven minimum 3-year work experience as accountant or similar role in this region.
• In-dept. understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Addition certification (e.g. CPA/ACCA) is a plus
