Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Bookkeeper Accountant to become an integral part of our innovative team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in our accounting systems, assisting with the preparation of financial reports, and contributing to tax return filing. We invite applicants based in the U.S. who are able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update comprehensive financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure precise recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist with payroll processing as required.
  • Prepare and file annual tax reports for state and federal compliance.
  • Address inquiries from clients and team members concerning financial information.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience as an accountant.
  • In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping methodologies and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (such as QuickBooks and Xero).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management capabilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and precision in financial data entry.
  • Capacity to work independently while managing multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an accountant.
  • Familiarity with the real estate or property management sector is preferred.
  • Understanding of NNN (Triple Net) investments is advantageous.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field preferred.
