Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant with a background in healthcare to manage financial operations for our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UAE healthcare regulations, medical billing, insurance claims processing, and financial reporting in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports specific to healthcare operations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, implement, and manage budgets for different departments (e.g., medical, administrative) and forecast future financial trends based on operational needs.
  • Medical Billing and Claims Management: Oversee patient billing, monitor insurance claims, track reimbursements, and ensure timely payments. Liaise with insurance companies for claim resolutions and approvals.
  • Cost Control: Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities within the healthcare operations. Implement strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality care.
  • Compliance: Ensure financial operations comply with UAE laws, healthcare regulations (DHA, HAAD), and accounting standards.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable/receivable for medical services, suppliers, and contractors. Monitor overdue payments and outstanding invoices.
  • Payroll Management: Process payroll for healthcare staff, including doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report on healthcare-related inventory costs such as medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and supplies.
  • Taxation and VAT: Handle VAT submissions, tax filings, and other statutory financial obligations as per UAE laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis and risk assessments to guide management on profitability and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry.
