Hiring Account Payable Accountant
Report to Manager Finance Manager/ General Manager
Role Purpose Manage and Control of Accounts Payable Transactions
Working Relationships work closely with the all department members
Duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor company expenditures, including payrolls, invoices, orders, statements, and bills.
- Coordinating with other departments such as accounts receivable, accounting, and finance to ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Creating reports summarizing accounts payable activity across multiple departments or entities
- Coordinate with banks or other financial institutions
- Receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
- Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Monitors advance payments made to suppliers
- Prepare monthly accruals during period closing if needed
- Handles period closing activities for Accounts Payable including preparation of monthly schedules
- Any ad hoc assignments from Finance Manager/General Manager
Requirement:
- Must be a graduate in accounting
- Must have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in AP function of a Finance Department.
- Should have excellent skills in MS Office Excel and experience in using Tally Prime
