Kickbase is on a mission to redefine how soccer fans engage with the sport. Focused on innovation and creating unique fan experiences, Kickbase is seeking a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to support the US expansion, particularly around MLS and the Baller League. This role combines on-camera presence with strategic content creation to entertain, engage, and grow the fan community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as on-camera talent for Kickbase’s US social content across Reels, Shorts, TikToks, Stories, and more.
- Manage the full content production cycle: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing.
- Co-create recurring content series that align with Kickbase’s tone and excite the fan community.
- Engage actively with followers through comments, reposts, and challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the Community team to stay aligned with user behavior and needs.
- Identify and respond to trending soccer narratives in the US and globally.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Charismatic and comfortable on camera with fluency in social media language, particularly TikTok and Instagram.
- Familiarity with Fantasy Soccer, either as a user or content creator.
- Passionate about US soccer culture, including MLS, fan rivalries, and soccer memes.
- Hands-on mentality, capable of autonomous work and taking ownership.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with tools like Slack, ASANA, and Gather.
Nice to Have:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with awareness of US Hispanic culture and LaLiga.
- Experience with short-form video editing.
- Existing social presence in the football or creator space.
