Immediate Hiring – Senior Accountant 🚨
A reputable Travel and Tourism company in the UAE is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage departmental operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle invoice generation, accounts payable and receivable, and follow up on credits
- Approve and monitor petty cash transactions, providing guidance to the cashier
- Reconcile financial data, verify bank payments, manage deposits, and handle foreign currency transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger, and internal controls
- Prepare quarterly and annual account reconciliations, ensure compliance, and assist with cash flow forecasting
- Conduct cost analysis for travel packages, tours, and operational activities
- Prepare precise monthly and annual financial statements and reports
- Develop financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Manage company cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
- Handle payments to suppliers, agents, airlines, and other stakeholders
- Oversee payroll processing and recurring expenses
- Collaborate with teams to align financial goals with business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within travel, tourism, or visa sectors
- Willingness to relocate to Umm Al Quwain
- Candidates with a UAE Residence Visa preferred
- UAE driving license preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
