Senior Accountant Vacancy
ChampionX, (previously known as Nalco Champion an Ecolab company) has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai UAE. In this role you will assist towards all department and company goals while taking personal ownership of all daily, monthly and annual finance tasks assigned to you. You will report to the Finance Manager.

What You Will Do:
Complete month end closure procedures and activities for specific legal entities, coordinating with all stakeholders, local accountants, to reconcile using with local accounting packages,
Reporting numbers through HFM tool.
Balance sheet hygiene through preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliation
VAT Filing for UAE and other GCC legal entities
SOX assessment and reporting
Inter company reporting including reconciliation, IC balance reporting and Mark up elimination
US GAAP Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting, including, but not limited to, working capital, cash flow, analytical reviews, taxation
Support the finance manager in ad hoc reporting requirements
Facilitation of Internal and External annual audits
Initiate and maintain inter-departmental and cross-company relationships
Work ethically at all times to ensure the company remains compliant to all local, national and international legislation
Minimum Education and Experience:
Professional qualifications desired (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
5-6 years of full-time experience working with an US based MNC
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role Accounting, book-keeping role
Working with SAP/IScala experience would be preferred and an advantage
Balance sheet and P&L reconciliation experience
Ability to work to deadlines and changing priorities
Good in soft skills
Preferred Experience:
FX Exposure reporting
Demonstrated ability of process and controls planning
Detailed knowledge and experience working in IFRS/US GAAP, also good knowledge on R2R, OTC, P2P business cycles.
Detailed knowledge and experience working in Microsoft office
