Description:
Senior Accountant Finance – is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information and preparing accurate and timely financial statements.
Analyzes complex financial reports
Prepares financial statements, /reporting checklists to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
Performs variance analyses, account reconciliations
Participates in financial standards setting
Supports month-end and year-end close processes
The individual will work closely with team members and the Management Team
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
2 to 4 years progressively experience in accounting
Thorough understanding of GAAP
Familiarity with statutory accounting principles
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
