Urgently looking for Quantity Surveyor – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Dar Al Handasah Nazih Taleb & Partners – a leading architecture and engineering consultancy firm offering integrated planning, design and engineering management services.
Reviews and replies to all queries. Regarding payments and variations.
Prepares all payment applications and variations.
Gathers all data and documents on site and from other departments for main contract payments, variations and financial part of claims.
Performs all necessary quantity take offs as required.
Assists in the preparation of the commercial claims and reports.
Maintains the project filing system of all payments, variations and financial claims.
Attends to negotiation of changes, and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.
Experience with leading consultancy firms in the UAE is a plus.
Should have post contract QS experience on major road and infrastructure projects. Should have good command of FIDIC RB 1999.
Excellent client-facing and diplomacy skills are needed.
Must be well versed in contract administration, VOs, procedures and payments.
