Description:

Procurement Officer is urgently required for a leading company located in Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities:-

• Conduct high level research for potential suppliers in the market and initiate supplier relationships.
• Benchmark prices on a quarterly basis to review similar prices in the market.
• Receive simple purchasing requests including item description, quantity, need by date and delivery location from different departments and ensure alignment to annual plan, budget, and stock availability.
• Draft, amend and update simple purchase requests/requests for quotations/contracts to ensure that suppliers’ requirements are met and fulfilled as per requester’s criteria/needs based on directions from supervisor
• Assist in evaluating current vendors and draft evaluation and recommendation reports highlighting shortlisted bidders by establishing preferred bidder through track records, performance and cost effectiveness for management decision-making
• Maintain supplier database by updating.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or any relevant field.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
