We’re Hiring: Senior SEO Analyst
RemoteHunter, a remote-first organic growth agency, is seeking an experienced Senior SEO Analyst to support diverse clients through strategic SEO, technical optimization, and content-driven initiatives. This role is perfect for candidates who are analytical, creative, and enjoy working on eCommerce, tech, and finance websites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recommend and implement SEO best practices tailored to various client industries
• Monitor SEO trends and communicate technical improvements to non-technical stakeholders
• Conduct monthly keyword research, competitor analysis, and generate topic ideas
• Write compelling marketing copy for multiple verticals
• Analyze site code to identify technical SEO issues such as page speed, site architecture, and crawl/index challenges
• Perform weekly analyses using Google Search Console and other SEO tools
• Create detailed spreadsheets and reports to support recommendations and storytelling
• Brainstorm and test strategies to improve search visibility, content performance, and user experience
• Oversee SEO-based content creation and coordinate with internal teams
• Develop creative link-building campaigns and pitch content to journalists and bloggers
Requirements:
• 2–4 years of experience in SEO
• Proficiency with tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and CMS platforms
• Technical SEO knowledge with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience conducting full SEO audits and providing actionable recommendations
• Deep understanding of eCommerce SEO and search engine crawling, indexing, and ranking
• Strong data analysis skills for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO decisions
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client relationship management and polished deliverables
• Project management skills for handling multiple projects and priorities
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Sheets)
Suggested Skills:
• Experience with project management tools like Basecamp or Smartsheet
• Experience with eCommerce CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify; Headless CMS experience is a plus
• 2–3 years of agency experience
