Description:
Pivot is currently hiring an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in both Civil and MEP disciplines to join its Dubai operations. The role focuses on managing project financials, controlling costs, and ensuring effective contract and commercial management across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts for Civil and MEP works
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs, valuations, and cost assessments during project execution
- Manage tendering activities, including bid analysis, evaluation, and contract negotiations
- Oversee contract administration processes, including variations, claims, and change orders
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and cost plans
- Prepare detailed financial reports and cost analysis updates for senior management decision-making
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure cost efficiency and compliance
- Support commercial strategy and risk management across project lifecycle stages
- Utilize QS software tools and MS Office for accurate reporting and documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Civil and/or MEP quantity surveying within construction projects
- Strong understanding of cost control, procurement processes, and contract management principles
- Proficiency in QS software tools and advanced MS Office skills
- MRICS or similar professional certification is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
