Description:
A leading construction organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join their team for a high-rise tower project in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis, ensuring projects are delivered within timelines and in line with contractual requirements.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting project control activities across all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare baseline programs, work breakdown structures (WBS), and construction sequencing plans
- Track project progress and update schedules on a weekly and monthly basis
- Identify potential delays and implement effective recovery strategies
- Conduct delay analysis, including EOT (Extension of Time) and TIA (Time Impact Analysis), and assist in claims preparation
- Generate progress reports, S-curves, and project dashboards for management review
- Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure alignment
- Plan and monitor resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment
- Assist in tender planning and overall project control functions
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably on high-rise projects within the UAE
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
- Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts and claims procedures
- Proven experience working on tower construction projects
