This role is designed for a highly skilled Senior Developer Advocate who can help drive awareness and adoption of NetFoundry’s OpenZiti platform among developers, technical teams, and partners. The position is highly technical and hands-on, requiring both strong coding ability and the ability to communicate complex networking and security concepts in a clear and engaging way.

The selected candidate will act as a bridge between developers and the product team, helping to simplify complex zero trust networking ideas into practical use cases, tutorials, and real-world implementations. Key Responsibilities:
• Create and publish technical content, including tutorials, reference architectures, and deep-dive guides
• Develop and maintain demo environments showcasing real-world applications of OpenZiti
• Write and contribute code using languages such as Go, Java, C/C++, and JavaScript
• Engage with developer communities, forums, and online platforms to support and educate users
• Deliver presentations, workshops, webinars, and conference talks
• Build strong relationships with developers, partners, and technical stakeholders
• Gather and document feedback from the developer community to improve product experience
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance SDKs, APIs, and documentation clarity
• Track and report on community growth, engagement metrics, and developer satisfaction
• Identify opportunities for integrations and expand adoption across ecosystems
• Help drive awareness and growth of NetFoundry and OpenZiti within the developer community

Requirements:
• 7–10+ years of experience in technical roles, including at least 3+ years in Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy
• Strong background in infrastructure platforms, APIs, networking, or distributed systems
• Proven ability to create impactful technical content that drives adoption
• Demonstrated experience building demos, tutorials, and reference architectures
• Hands-on coding experience in at least two programming languages among Go, Java, C/C++, or JavaScript
• Ability to communicate effectively across different technical levels, from beginners to advanced engineers
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced and remote environment
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience growing developer communities or contributing to open-source projects
• Strong understanding or quick learning ability in networking and security concepts
• Experience working with emerging technologies or developer ecosystems
• Ability to create simple and engaging analogies for complex technical concepts
