CNS ME is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer specializing in Azure technologies to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential in driving efficient data operations by developing advanced data pipelines and implementing scalable, cloud-based data solutions. The selected candidate will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making through well-structured and optimized data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes within the Azure ecosystem
• Build, enhance, and optimize data warehouses and lakehouse architectures to ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and analysts to deliver clean, reliable, and structured datasets for analytics and reporting
• Monitor and improve data workflows to ensure efficiency and minimize downtime
• Implement best practices in data engineering, including data quality, governance, and security standards
Requirements:
• Strong hands-on experience in data engineering within large-scale or enterprise environments
• In-depth expertise in Azure tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Proficiency in programming and query languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala
• Solid understanding of modern data architecture principles and cloud-native solutions
• Previous exposure to enterprise environments in the UAE or Middle East region is an advantage
