An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established organization in Dubai. The company is looking for a highly skilled finance professional with strong expertise in accounting operations within the contracting, construction, or landscaping sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting overall financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation in line with company policies
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and project costing related to construction and contracting activities
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal audit requirements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently
• Coordinate with internal departments for financial planning and reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
Requirements:
• MBA or M.Com in Finance from a reputed institution
• 8 to 10 years of UAE experience in accounting and finance roles
• Strong background in contracting, construction, or landscaping industry is mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Immediate availability will be considered an advantage
