Gargash Hospital in Dubai is currently hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee and manage core financial operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting hospital leadership with reliable financial insights.
This role requires strong accounting expertise, particularly in healthcare financial processes such as patient billing, insurance claims, and medical-related cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Manage healthcare-specific financial processes such as patient billing, insurance claims processing, deposits, and pharmacy or medical supply cost tracking
• Prepare monthly financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial reporting standards
• Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready financial records at all times
• Provide financial insights and reporting support to hospital management and leadership
• Assist in improving financial processes and ensuring operational efficiency
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within hospitals or healthcare organizations
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT laws and healthcare financial operations
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
