A company based in Dubai is urgently looking to hire a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for candidates who have hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices and are confident in handling financial reporting and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing accounting operations efficiently while ensuring adherence to local financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial records
- Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial laws
- Monitor and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors when required
Key Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance practices is an added advantage
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
