Description:

Job Vacancy – Safety Officer

Development of ohs policies and programs, conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures, review existing policies and measures and update per legislation.

Initiate & organize ohs training of employees, inspect premises & the work of personnel to identify non-conformity

Record & investigate incidents to determine causes, prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management, assessing risk & safety hazards of all aspects of operations

Presenting safety principles to staff in meetings or training sessions, creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to business processes

Meeting company health & safety goals, reviewing and reporting on staff compliance with health & safety rules

Valid UAE driving license is required

Experience in formulating, implementing and revising HS policies & procedures.
