Description:
A company in the UAE is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join their team. This is a critical position requiring candidates who are already approved by local authorities and can step into the role immediately without any delay.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site safety management, with hands-on experience in enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies on-site
• Identify potential hazards and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations and international safety standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff
• Maintain safety documentation and reports accurately
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of all activities
Requirements:
• 5 to 7 years of solid experience in HSE or safety management roles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics
• Must hold valid Tarakhees and DDA (Dubai Development Authority) approvals
• Must currently be on a Safety Officer visa
• Strong understanding of local safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Immediate availability is mandatory (candidates with notice periods will not be considered)
