Description:
Al Qandeel LLC is currently hiring a qualified and experienced Safety Engineer to oversee and strengthen health, safety, and environmental practices across construction sites in Dubai. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, reducing workplace risks, and maintaining a strong safety culture within ongoing operations.
- Implement and enforce all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) rules and regulations across project sites
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and regular safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective measures
- Ensure strict compliance with Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense safety requirements
- Lead safety induction sessions and promote a strong “Safety First” culture among all employees and site workers
- Monitor site activities to prevent accidents, incidents, and operational delays
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe working practices are consistently followed
- Provide guidance and continuous improvement strategies for workplace safety standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred field)
- 3–5 years of UAE-based experience as a Safety Engineer in the construction sector
- Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense safety regulations
- NEBOSH certification or equivalent recognized safety qualification is mandatory
- Strong analytical, monitoring, and risk management skills
- Ability to lead safety training sessions and enforce compliance effectively
