Description:
A Dubai-based organization is currently hiring an experienced Operations Coordinator to support and manage transport operations. The role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in fleet management and operational coordination, particularly within large-scale transportation environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth fleet performance, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and reliability across all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Oversee daily transport operations, including fleet reporting and vehicle maintenance tracking
• Manage and monitor a fleet of over 350 vehicles on a daily basis
• Identify and analyze causes of vehicle breakdowns and ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate and manage drivers and operators, including their schedules and movements
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are maintained and functioning efficiently
• Make strategic decisions to support operational improvements and future growth
• Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager and General Manager
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors
Requirements:
• 7 to 8 years of proven experience in transport or logistics operations
• Strong understanding and knowledge of CICPA regulations
• Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage large teams and complex operational workflows
