Description:
Accela is seeking a motivated Junior Proposal Manager to join its RFP team, supporting the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for state and local government clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs while working alongside experienced proposal professionals.

You will be involved in the full proposal lifecycle, helping to ensure that all submissions are accurate, compliant, and aligned with client requirements. This position also focuses on collaboration with internal teams and continuous improvement of proposal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end execution of RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Develop proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices to ensure structured submissions.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and content.
  • Draft, edit, and review proposal documentation to maintain quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure all proposals meet solicitation and compliance requirements.
  • Support improvements in proposal workflows and internal processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in proposal coordination or RFP management.
  • Familiarity with government procurement procedures.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with tools such as Qvidian, Loopio, or similar proposal management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on government software or SaaS-related proposals.
  • APMP certification or interest in pursuing professional certification.
