Mednex is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Medical Coder to join a client medical center in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses in compliance with UAE guidelines, ensuring the integrity of medical records and billing processes.
This role is perfect for individuals with foundational experience in medical coding who are eager to contribute to efficient healthcare operations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and USCLS codes to medical procedures and diagnoses
• Ensure compliance with UAE coding guidelines and standards
• Review patient records and clinical documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to resolve coding discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of coded data for reporting and billing purposes
• Continuously update knowledge of coding regulations and best practices
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical coding
