A company is currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join its finance department. This role is suitable for candidates who have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and are eager to build their career in financial operations and reporting.
The selected candidate will support day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial documentation, and assist in maintaining smooth financial processes within the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Maintaining accurate financial records and updating the general ledger
• Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Preparing invoices, vouchers, and payment receipts
• Assisting with bank reconciliation and daily financial transactions
• Supporting monthly financial reporting and closing activities
• Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of financial documentation
• Assisting in VAT compliance and audit-related work when required
Requirements for the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may also apply)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations will be considered an advantage
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
