Description:
A reputable organization in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are looking to build and grow their accounting career in a structured and professional environment while gaining hands-on experience across various financial functions.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, including VAT requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily accounting activities and financial transactions
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoice processing and payments
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare regular reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including calculations and filings
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders when required
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of accounting experience within the UAE
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and reporting standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
• ACCA, CA, or CMA qualification (completed or in progress)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Immediate availability will be an advantage
