Dicetek UAE is currently seeking a talented and experienced Java Developer to join a major government project in Dubai. This role is critical in building and maintaining high-performance, real-time platforms that are used by millions of users across the Emirates.
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working on modern technologies to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient digital solutions. This opportunity offers exposure to large-scale systems and impactful projects with national-level significance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend applications using modern frameworks
• Build and implement scalable microservices architecture and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
• Monitor system performance by implementing distributed tracing and observability tools such as Jaeger
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance to ensure high availability and security compliance
Requirements:
• 4–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, particularly in high-traffic or real-time systems
• Strong expertise in backend frameworks such as Spring and Quarkus
• Experience working with microservices architecture and API integrations
• Must be currently available within the UAE
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of:
