Description:
Erth Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join their team as a Food Safety Supervisor and EFST Trainer. This role is ideal for candidates who have a strong academic background in food sciences and extensive hands-on experience in food safety within hospitality or catering environments.
The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining food safety standards, delivering training programs, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for overseeing food safety practices, conducting training sessions, and supporting operational teams in maintaining high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure implementation of food safety standards across operations
- Conduct EFST training sessions in compliance with ADAFSA guidelines
- Monitor hygiene practices and ensure adherence to HACCP protocols
- Perform audits and inspections to maintain regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance and support to staff on food safety procedures
- Maintain proper documentation and reports related to food safety and training
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in food safety within catering, hotels, or restaurant chains
- At least 2 years of relevant experience within the UAE, preferably in Abu Dhabi
- ADAFSA-approved EFST Trainer certification is mandatory
- Level 4 Food Safety and HACCP Level 3 certifications required
- NEBOSH IGC certification is an added advantage
- UAE Driving License is preferred but not mandatory
