Ophelia, a mission-driven and venture-backed healthcare startup, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Enrollment Coordinator to support individuals beginning their journey toward opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment. This role plays a vital part in guiding prospective patients through their first interaction with Ophelia’s services, ensuring they receive timely, empathetic, and structured support as they begin treatment enrollment.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, remote startup environment and will be comfortable engaging directly with patients through phone-based outreach and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage and support prospective patients interested in Ophelia’s treatment programs
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered guidance using a trauma-informed approach
• Conduct phone-based outreach, including cold calls and follow-ups
• Reconnect with patients who have disengaged from the enrollment process
• Assist in triaging incoming patient referrals and inquiries
• Track outreach efforts and enrollment data using internal systems
• Contribute to improving enrollment workflows and team efficiency
• Represent Ophelia’s mission of accessible and dignified care for all patients
Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a customer, client, or patient-facing role
• Strong ability to build rapport quickly with individuals in sensitive situations
• Comfortable with outbound calling, including cold calls and follow-ups
• Tech-savvy with ability to navigate multiple digital platforms
• Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced startup environment
• Data-oriented mindset with ability to track performance metrics
Work Schedule Options:
• Sunday–Thursday (9 AM–5 PM ET)
• Sunday–Thursday (11 AM–7 PM ET)
• Monday–Friday (12 PM–8 PM ET)
