The Deal Desk Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales organization by ensuring smooth execution of deal closures and maintaining accuracy throughout the opportunity lifecycle. This position focuses on managing sales operations processes, ensuring compliance, and facilitating collaboration between multiple internal teams to support efficient and timely deal bookings.

The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, especially during month-end and quarter-end closing periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process sales opportunities in Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ systems

• Ensure proper reconciliation of quotes with invoices and contract terms

• Support order alignment with reseller and customer agreements

• Maintain compliance with revenue recognition standards and SOX requirements

• Assist in resolving booking-related issues in collaboration with sales, finance, legal, and billing teams

• Provide guidance on deal readiness and ensure opportunities are properly staged for closure

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support deal execution and problem resolution

• Monitor and support multiple tickets and requests simultaneously to ensure timely closure

• Assist in generating ad hoc reports and operational insights as required

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

• Support training and onboarding of new Deal Desk team members

• Maintain strong communication and responsiveness in line with SLA expectations

• Work extended hours during critical month-end and quarter-end periods

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in customer service, finance, operations, or sales support roles

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (CPQ preferred)

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak periods

• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
