Description:

Cision (PRIME Research Brazil) is currently hiring a Data Quality Executive to join its global media research and communications team. This role is focused on maintaining and improving the accuracy of Cision’s international media database, with a strong emphasis on the United States media landscape.

The position is ideal for experienced researchers who have strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The role also involves contributing to editorial content and supporting global research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on media outlets and journalists using online tools, email communication, and phone outreach

• Update and maintain accurate data in the global media database, focusing on major US publications and senior journalists

• Support data cleanup projects aimed at improving database quality and consistency

• Monitor US media industry updates to ensure timely and accurate database revisions

• Write concise summaries of key media developments for inclusion in the weekly Media Brief newsletter

• Manage administrative tasks and communication responsibilities efficiently

• Collaborate with global teams when required to support research initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in media research, PR, or related media industry roles

• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and manage workload independently in a high-volume environment

• Proficiency in MS Office and general computer skills

• Strong communication and customer service abilities
