A well-established freight forwarding and customs clearance company in Dubai is looking to hire an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist with a strong background in handling food shipments and navigating local regulatory procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of goods through customs while adhering to UAE regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of customs systems, particularly Mirsal 2, and have hands-on experience dealing with foodstuff consignments and Dubai Municipality approvals. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute customs clearance processes efficiently using the Mirsal 2 system
• Handle the complete clearance cycle for food and perishable shipments
• Coordinate with Dubai Municipality systems to secure required permits and food safety approvals
• Ensure all shipment documentation complies with UAE regulations to prevent delays or penalties
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of all clearance activities
• Communicate with internal teams and external authorities to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
• Arab nationality (as per company requirement)
• Proven experience working with the Mirsal 2 customs system
• Strong background in handling food or perishable goods clearance
