Description:
ShipBob, a leading global supply chain and fulfillment technology platform, is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to oversee and enhance compensation programs across the organization. This role is responsible for managing global compensation functions, including fixed pay, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, and benchmarking processes for roles across all company functions. The Compensation Manager will work closely with HR Business Partners, talent leaders, and business stakeholders to provide strategic guidance and maintain competitive compensation structures.

This is an opportunity for a results-driven professional to contribute to ShipBob’s high-performance culture while supporting global compensation planning, program administration, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the global job catalog, evaluating new roles and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Partner with HR, talent, and business leaders to provide compensation guidance, training, and consultation
  • Develop or participate in compensation and benefits surveys to benchmark competitive rewards
  • Review proposed compensation adjustments, new offers, and role classifications to ensure adherence to policies
  • Recommend salary structure adjustments, job revisions, and organizational changes as needed
  • Monitor statutory requirements affecting compensation administration and advise on compliance
  • Lead global salary structure reviews, merit and incentive compensation cycles
  • Support sales compensation programs through design, modeling, analysis, and administration
  • Perform additional duties related to total rewards and compensation as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in compensation or HR functions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; CCP certification preferred
  • Experience in job evaluation methodology and compensation survey management
  • Advanced skills in Excel, data analysis, statistics, and presentations
  • Strong ability to work in complex, ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
