Wink Engineering, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to join their remote team in the United States. This role is essential in maintaining the company’s financial accuracy and integrity by managing daily financial transactions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the finance team to prepare financial statements, manage payroll, and process accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and update all transactions promptly
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Prepare and submit tax documents, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal requirements
- Collaborate with management on budgets and forecasts using financial data and trends
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance/accounting role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration
