Description:
KRV Auditing is currently seeking a motivated and detail-focused Audit Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and are eager to grow their career in auditing within a professional environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting audit engagements, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out audit assignments in line with established auditing standards
- Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and related documentation, primarily using Microsoft Excel
- Support the preparation and drafting of audit reports and financial statements
- Review and verify financial transactions, records, and supporting documents
- Conduct analytical reviews and perform account reconciliations
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with team members to complete assignments within deadlines
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of audit findings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data formatting
- Mandatory prior work experience within the UAE
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA Intermediate (IPCC) qualification
- Previous experience in auditing or accounting roles within the UAE
Skills:
- Basic understanding of financial reporting standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
