Description:
A reputable organization in Dubai is currently looking to hire a qualified and detail-focused Accounts Officer to join its Accounts & Finance Department. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are CA Inter–passed or MCOM qualified and are seeking to grow their career within a structured accounting environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting reporting functions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain daily MIS reports for management review
- Record revenue invoices and post journal entries accurately within the accounting system
- Monitor, verify, and reconcile daily cash collections
- Record all bank-related transactions including receipts and payments
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly
- Manage petty cash transactions including proper booking and reconciliation
- Oversee Accounts Payable activities such as supplier statements of account (SOAs), invoice verification, and payment processing
- Support Accounts Receivable functions including invoice generation, receipt postings, and follow-ups on outstanding payments
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related reports
- Ensure proper filing, documentation, and strict confidentiality of financial data
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, suppliers, and clients for smooth financial operations
Requirements:
- CA / ICWA / CMA / MCOM (Inter level preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Practical hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Tally Prime
- Strong command of MS Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Prior experience within the UAE accounting environment will be considered an added advantage
- Proficiency in English and Hindi is required
