Description:
A company in the UAE is currently looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support its finance department. This role is suitable for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting processes and hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial record-keeping.
The selected candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, supporting reconciliations, and coordinating with internal departments such as HR for payroll and audit-related tasks. Candidates who are available for immediate joining will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and record purchase and sales invoices accurately in ERP systems
• Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring proper documentation
• Prepare bank reconciliations and payment vouchers
• Support in handling accruals, provisions, and fixed asset records
• Monitor petty cash transactions and manage receivables collection tracking
• Coordinate with HR for payroll processing and audit-related requirements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must be currently based in the UAE
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and accounting procedures
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines
• Experience with reconciliations and financial documentation
