Description:
Unipods LLC is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Finance team based in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is ideal for professionals with solid experience in contracting within the UAE and a strong understanding of financial operations, reporting, and compliance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring accurate handling of transactions across various accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employee-related financial records including visa expenses, end-of-service benefits (EOS), and monthly accruals
• Prepare daily cash flow reports and perform regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records for insurance and prepaid expenses
• Handle supplier invoice processing and perform reconciliations
• Prepare project-related invoicing, including tax invoices, and follow up on receivables
• Assist in VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Process Letters of Credit (LC) and bank guarantees while tracking their validity
• Support month-end closing activities including depreciation, accruals, and financial reporting
• Prepare schedules and documentation required for internal and external audits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce is required; M.Com or CFA qualifications are preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE contracting sector
• Familiarity with SAP FI is considered an advantage
• Strong communication skills and professional ethical standards
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
