Description:
Alpha Emirat is currently hiring a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Abu Dhabi. This is a full-time on-site opportunity designed for professionals who have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on financial management experience, and a solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting overall financial planning and compliance within the organization. This role offers a professional environment with opportunities to develop expertise in UAE accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and complete month-end and year-end closing processes
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including supplier payments and customer collections
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis reports
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash flow monitoring, and cash management activities
• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in FTA filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting functions
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
