Description:
Our Regional Finance Manager is adding a Chief Accountant to his team who will be responsible for financial and cash flow management across the Middle East and Asia.
Based in Abu Dhabi, some of your duties will include:
AR, AP, Inventory, Payroll, Forecasting and Budgeting.
Month-end accounting, reconciliations and journal entries.
Monitoring and recording financial transactions.
Monthly financial statements, payments and reporting.
Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and supporting operations teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost.
Developing and maintaining internal controls.
Capex utilization.
To be considered, you should have a Degree in Accounting, Finance or a recognized accounting certification (ACCA, ACA etc.) and 5+ years’ experience in financial and management accounting, ideally from the Oil and Gas industry. Knowledge of JDE, Microsoft Dynamics and Hyperion would be highly beneficial, as would a familiarity of US GAAP and SOX. We are currently only considering candidates currently based in the UAE.
