Description:
Desired Qualification: Successful completion of Diploma degree in Nursing from an accredited program (Adult/Pediatric/Combined). With BLS certificate
License: DHA or transferable UAE license as Assistant Nurse/Practical Nurse
Preferred experience:
Minimum 2 year’s post-graduation experience in long term residential/community care, Home Care services, including ventilation experience, intellectual disability nursing (adult/pediatric).
Experience in the handling of a cognitively and behaviorally challenged patients (adults/pediatrics) +/- varying degrees of physical limitations.
Responsible for providing safe, effective, age and specialty appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice, as defined by the regulatory body in an interdisciplinary environment.
The Assistant Nurse is not licensed for independent practice but remains responsible and accountable for his/her own actions.
