Description:

Accounts Payable Accountant

• Assemble, review & verify invoices & check requests
• Set invoices up for payment
• Enter & upload invoices into system
• Track expenses & process expense reports
• Prepare & process electronic transfers & payments
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Prepare analysis of accounts
• Maintain vendor files
• Correspond with vendors & respond to inquiries
• Produce monthly reports
• Assist with month end closing
• Maintain accurate historical records
• Perform other duties as assigned

 Education and Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• Accounts payable
• General accounting procedures
• Knowledge of relevant accounting software
• Proficient in data entry & management
• 1-3 years accounts payable experience
• Attention to detail & accuracy 
• Communication skills
• Problem analysis and problem-solving
• Team work
